SomaYoga is incredibly approachable for all ages and skill levels. While the most commonly known goal of “stretching” might feel good temporarily...the skill of isolating, releasing, and nourishing a muscle group is much more satisfying and longer lasting. Flexibility is not a requirement, and isn’t necessarily even an advantage; Where we aim is overall stability and longevity.

Our therapeutic SomaYoga sessions use a blend of somatics to re-educate muscles and gain greater mobility, therapeutic yoga to mobilize/stabilize, and classic asana to strengthen/stabilize.

Fundamentals of SomaYoga Workshop

Wednesdays @ 9:45am, July 19 - Aug 9, 2023

This 4 week online class series is designed to introduce new beginners and seasoned yoga students alike to the stress relieving benefits of SomaYoga. Together we will exist in the present moment and set our stressors aside for 75 minutes. Join April with I Can Be Yoga in releasing old tension patterns and renewing functional movement in the body. This is a yoga class you can take home with you in order to find more balance and ease in everyday life.

    Let’s have a personalized conversation with the body, mind, and spirit.

  • Virtual Private

    Let’s have a customized SomaYoga session from wherever you may be, near or far.

  • In Person Small Group

    Let’s set up a session for two or three people looking to connect with themselves and each other.

    Let’s host a gathering from anywhere and everywhere, large or small.
